Very beautiful city. Everything was very clean.

A special gem in the heart of Linz's old town. Time-honored half-timbered house with a modern core and attractive style. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, especially the tarte flambée and the homemade fries. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and warm service.

Here the schnitzel was freshly and crispy prepared with sensational potato sticks (that's the name of the french fries here). In short: the food was fun!

Was very nice staff totally friendly but unfortunately there was not everything on the map was, for example. Rum steak and potato soup that was a pity as the men were so happy.

Food is great, nice personal atmosphere, nice chef and you feel completely comfortable. Have often had meetings at the end of the year, everything was always perfect. Hence a full, deserved score 👍

On recommendation go to Alt Linz and it was really worth the recommendation. Very nice service and delicious food, everything fresh and without flavor enhancers and additives prepared. We'll be back soon.

Been to the winzer parties. Some old-fashioned decor but fits the town. Enough friendly staff but bar could not handle the crowds due to the tap installation. Cheap for Dutch standards. Is a nice time to drink a beer if you are in the area.

The hotel and restaurant Alt-Linz is located in a historic half-timbered house in the middle of the beautiful old town of Linz. The food in the restaurant is regional and freshly prepared. All the dishes I had were delicious. The service is nice, friendly and accommodating. I felt very welcome during my entire stay as a guest. The room in the hotel was very spacious, well equipped and had a wonderful view of the Mittelstraße. The breakfast is included and there's the bakery next door - a great cooperation among neighbors.

Food was great, quality was excellent, service was courteous, friendly and fast! The atmosphere was wonderful as we could sit outside thanks to the wonderful weather. I had the potato soup with bacon as a starter (a dream) and the Argentinian rump steak as the main course. I ordered the rump steak "English" (bloody) but unfortunately got it rather medium / well done. Amazingly, it was still very tender and definitely edible. Therefore only 1 star deduction. My wife had the tomato / paprika cream soup as a starter and the pork medallions as a main course and was also very satisfied with the taste and how tender the medallions were fried. The accompanying salad was also very rich, tasty and, above all, very fresh. Our companion had the prawns on a zucchini salad and she was absolutely satisfied with the taste. Price / performance is absolutely fine! I can recommend the "Alt Linz" without hesitation and will be happy to visit it often!
